Roundhouse and SAR

Finally I have completed the N scale VR 3 stall roundhouse.  The instructions are being proof read for any grammatical errors on my behalf by a fellow modeller.  I finally finishing some big projects before I make a start on some SAR wagons as promised along with the silo kit.

The roundhouse kit features removal roof N scale corrugated iron roof, VR trusses, concrete or brick floors, steel crew lockers, vented roof, 2 ways of positioning of windows (fixed or leaning), detachable store house, detachable sand house, extra floor to raise the footprint for taller locos or built up track.  Extra roofing in case you want to expand it to 6, 9 etc. stalls plus the buyers of 2 or more kits get the extra trusses to continue their roof build.

Provision has been made for lighting in the roof space as well.  Basic history notes and paint advice are given.  It is recommended that you assemble the kit with an Ultra Fine Glue adaptor ($4.00) to make things easier.  Final price on the roundhouse is being worked out as I cut all the parts and start assembling the kits.

Availability for this limited run kit will be towards the 3^rd week in Feb 2016.

The above kits are very limited as I used up all spare etches and underframes in the re-run and I now attempting to get some etches done overseas because of the current Australian costs.

Water Tank wagons - WT

I have managed to get some more etches in along side other projects and as a result I can offer again a limited number of WT kits at the old price of $33.00 even though the underframe has cost more from overseas due to our poor performing dollar.

The kit consists of a brass etch, tank casting, decals and an underframe with Rapido couplers but the instructions cover MicroTrains couplers

Also after a long absence the 2 pot Flour and Cement wagons are being reworked to use the Aust-N-Rail underframe and will be released with revision of the instructions.
